Archive for September, 2015
The next men at arms training session for the Companye will be on Wednesday 30th September at the Buckingham Scout Hut.
8pm onwards – all welcome.
The scout hut is situated off Adams Close.
WINTER IS COMING…
The Companye is delighted to announce the three dates for the Autumn Skirmishes. The locations are 99% confirmed and will be announced shortly, but the dates are fixed.
October 4th – NASEBY
November 21st – CASTLE HEDINGHAM
December 12th – NASEBY
Each event will be subject to a weather check on the day – though we have run these in a hailstorm before, and we are planning a snap one when it snows! We will post a check on here on the morning of the event, so you can avoid a wasted journey.
You can take a look at the different game types here:

As you can see, someone needs to knock Alec “The Bodycount” J off his peg..
These games are not only a test, but extremely good fun. You’d be mad to miss them.
But don’t take my word for it, here’s what others have said…
“The most fun you can have in armour”
“Totally different challenge. I now have a healthy respect for archers”
“I’ve won national archery competitions – that was among the hardest shooting I’ve ever done”
“Ha! Missed both my legs! OOO ME PLUMS! DAMN YOU STAN!!”
“I had no idea how we were going to make it through. But Lee was experienced, he knew every inch and soon took me up the back passage!”
